How to boost your metabolism with this 1 easy tip

Are you ready to find out the best way to increase your metabolism and keep it firing all day long? 

OK I’ll tell you the secret in a second, I’m also going to tell you why you should master this super easy trick. Understanding why you need to do things will drastically improve your chances of actually doing them. It’s no good doing something just because someone tells you to, you need to know what it’s doing and that way you’re much more likely to find a way of making time for it in your daily routine.

What’s the big tip? Morning workouts!

You can even make this game changing tip work on your craziest mornings. A simple 10 minute resistance training routine in your bedroom or brisk walk will get your body feeling the burn. The objective is to wake up and move before the day begins. 

One of the easiest ways to make sure your body is burning fat all day long is to get your booty moving first thing when you wake up. “Without a doubt, exercise can boost your metabolic rate. The degree depends on your current fitness level and the kind of activity you choose. All other things being equal, working out in the morning will help to boost your metabolism, allowing you to burn more calories for the rest of the day. The phenomenon is called excess post-exercise oxygen consumption, or EPOC. To get the greatest post-workout metabolic kick, do cardio based activities like high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or bodybuilding type resistance training with multi-joint exercises.” 1 See my HIIT examples below.

There are so many more benefits to morning sweat sessions including better food choices and better focus when you get to work. If you can’t do this every day, it’s okay. Aim for 3-4 times a week.

Not only does getting your sweat on first thing in the morning burn a higher percentage of fat, but it’s great for consistency since doing something earlier in the day assures that nothing comes between you and your weight loss goals!

Quick routines to do at home
